Rakdos

Rakdos is a Rakdos (black-red) Commander burn/ramp deck built around Rakdos, Lord of Riots. The main plan is to ping all opponents with cheap burn and spell-based damage using cards like Guttersnipe, Thermo-Alchemist, Electrostatic Field, Firebrand Archer, Kessig Flamebreather, Spear Spewer, and Roiling Vortex, which helps turn on Rakdos and reduce the cost of big colorless threats.

Once opponents have taken damage, the deck uses mana rocks and treasure/ramp like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Rakdos Signet, Big Score, Unexpected Windfall, and Storm-Kiln Artist to power out huge Eldrazi-style finishers such as Artisan of Kozilek, Pathrazer of Ulamog, Ulamog’s Crusher, Breaker of Armies, Bane of Bala Ged, and Desolation Twin. It wins by chipping the table down with repeated noncombat damage, then dropping massive creatures at a discount to overwhelm opponents in combat.
