Pako & Haldan

Pako & Haldan is a Temur commander deck in practice, but this list is primarily Gruul (red-green) built around an aggro/value exile-matters strategy. The main plan is to attack with Pako, Arcane Retriever early and often, piling +1/+1 counters on him while exiling cards from opponents’ libraries, then use Haldan to play those exiled noncreature cards for value.

Key synergies focus on:

• Making Pako connect with evasion/protection like Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, Whispersilk Cloak, Trailblazer’s Boots, and Rogue’s Passage
• Doubling down on combat with pump and damage boosts such as Xenagos, God of Revels, Temur Battle Rage, Berserkers’ Onslaught, Kessig Wolf Run, and Skarrg
• Exile/cast-from-exile value from cards like Laelia, Professional Face-Breaker, Outpost Siege, Stolen Strategy, Share the Spoils, Reckless Impulse, and Light Up the Stage
