It looks to apply early pressure with cheap creatures like Cacophony Scamp, Heartfire Hero, and Emberheart Challenger, then boost them with Buster Sword, Swiftfoot Boots, and pump/burn spells like Monstrous Rage, Burst Lightning, and Lightning Strike.

Its key synergy is suiting up efficient attackers—especially Cloud, Midgar Mercenary and Noctis, Prince of Lucis—with equipment to push extra combat damage while protecting threats with Swiftfoot Boots. The deck usually wins by curving out aggressively, forcing through combat damage, and finishing the opponent with burn spells or sacrifice-style burst from cards like Cacophony Scamp.
