Phenax Mill Fortress

Phenax Mill Fortress is a Dimir (blue-black) Commander mill/control deck built around Phenax, God of Deception. Its main plan is to develop a defensive board of high-toughness walls and blockers, then use Phenax to tap them and mill opponents for huge chunks.

Key synergies include:

• High-toughness creatures like walls, turtles, and defenders that both stall combat and become mill engines with Phenax.
• Dedicated mill payoffs and support such as Consuming Aberration, Teferi’s Tutelage, Jace’s Erasure, Manic Scribe, Coral Colony, and Doorkeeper.
• A light control/ramp shell with mana rocks and interaction to stay alive while setting up.

The deck wins primarily by decking opponents out, using repeated mill from Phenax and other mill effects while hiding behind a fortress of blockers.
