It wants to steadily develop the board with small creatures, Food generation, and token-makers, then snowball those resources into a wide, buffed board.

Key synergies center on cards like Samwise Gamgee, Sam, Loyal Attendant, Rosie Cotton of South Lane, Peregrin Took, Merry, and Pippin, which turn Food and token creation into extra creatures, counters, and card/value loops. The deck also gets support from The Shire/Hobbit-themed payoffs, incidental lifegain, and some Ent/ramp elements to keep resources flowing.
