Rootha is an Izzet (blue-red) spellslinger/storm-style Commander deck built around copying instants and sorceries for huge value. Rootha and cards like Galvanic Iteration, Increasing Vengeance, Reverberate, Teach by Example, Double Vision, Thousand-Year Storm, and Twinning Staff let the deck repeatedly copy spells, while token makers such as Young Pyromancer, Talrand, Murmuring Mystic, Third Path Iconoclast, and Metallurgic Summonings turn all that spellcasting into a board presence.

The deck ramps with rocks and treasure makers like Big Score, Unexpected Windfall, Pirate’s Pillage, Seething Song, and Mana Geyser, then chains spells together with recursion from Past in Flames and Mizzix’s Mastery. It usually wins by generating overwhelming value and tokens, or by finishing with a massive copied burn spell like Crackle with Power, Expansion // Explosion, or Volcanic Salvo after a big storm turn.
