Test 1 is a Dimir (blue-black) Modern control/tempo deck. It plays a highly interactive game, using cheap discard and removal like Thoughtseize, Fatal Push, Sheoldred’s Edict, and Drown in the Loch, backed up by countermagic such as Counterspell, Force of Negation, Spell Snare, and Subtlety to keep opponents off balance.

Its key synergies come from filling the graveyard and trading resources efficiently: Drown in the Loch gets stronger as the opponent’s graveyard grows, Snapcaster Mage rebuys key spells, and Cling to Dust provides graveyard control and card advantage. Orcish Bowmasters punishes opposing card draw, while Psychic Frog offers an additional threat. The deck typically wins by controlling the board, disrupting the opponent’s plan, and closing the game with efficient creatures and incremental advantage.
