RAT TEST

RAT TEST is a Rakdos (black-red) Rat tribal/midrange deck in Standard. It looks to chip away at the opponent with disruptive Rats like Burglar Rat, then leverage tribal payoffs such as Patchwork Banner, Banner of Kinship, and likely Valley Rotcaller to make its small creatures more impactful.

The deck backs up its creature plan with plenty of black removal and attrition tools—Moment of Craving, Ancient Vendetta, Nowhere to Run, Strategic Betrayal, and Day of Black Sun—to control the board while its Rats grind out value. Cavern of Souls helps force key creature types through countermagic.

Overall, it aims to win by disrupting the opponent, clearing blockers, and attacking with an increasingly supported Rat board rather than racing explosively.
