Songs of Fangorn

Songs of Fangorn is a 5-color Commander enchantment/sagas midrange deck with a strong Lord of the Rings legends-and-Ents subtheme. It looks to ramp hard, fix all five colors, and then generate value from Sagas, enchantress effects, and big Treefolk/Ent creatures.

Key synergies:

• Tom Bombadil, Starfield of Nyx, Estrid’s Invocation, and multiple LOTR Sagas help recycle, copy, and chain enchantment value.
• Sythis, Harvest’s Hand and Enchantress’s Presence reward the deck for casting its many enchantments.
• Fangorn, Tree Shepherd, Treebeard, Gracious Host, Quickbeam, Last March of the Ents, and Assemble the Entmoot support the Ent/Treefolk beatdown plan.
• Heavy ramp and fixing from Cultivate, Kodama’s Reach, Three Visits, Nature’s Lore, mana rocks, and a fetch/triome manabase let it reliably cast its powerful multicolor spells.
