Slickshot Lava Surge

Slickshot Lava Surge is a mono-red Standard aggro/burn deck. It aims to win quickly by pressuring with cheap creatures like Ghitu Lavarunner, Fanatical Firebrand, Heartfire Immolator, and Slickshot Show-Off, then finishing the opponent with a heavy suite of direct damage spells such as Shock, Lightning Strike, Burst Lightning, and Boltwave.

The key synergy is between its low-cost burn spells and aggressive creatures, letting the deck both clear blockers and push face damage efficiently. Coruscation Mage helps reward repeated spellcasting, while Abrade adds flexibility against creatures or artifacts. Overall, the deck plays as a fast, proactive red deck that tries to reduce the opponent to zero before they can stabilize.
