Its main game plan is to assemble compact creature combos using cards like Devoted Druid + Quillspike/Melira, or persist-style lines with Lesser Masticore, often found via Survival of the Fittest, Birthing Pod, Eldritch Evolution, Chord of Calling, Finale of Devastation, Protean Hulk, and the deck’s many tutors. The deck also leverages Hapatra, Nest of Scarabs, Blowfly Infestation, Soul Snuffers, Obelisk Spider, Necroskitter, and The Scorpion God to turn -1/-1 counters into token generation, drain, board control, or loop potential.

It aims to win by generating infinite/large mana, infinite death triggers, or repeatable sacrifice loops, then finishing with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Disciple of the Vault, or a lethal tutor/Finale line.
