Butcher's Dragon Stampede

Butcher’s Dragon Stampede is a Gruul (red-green) Dragon/ramp Commander deck that wants to accelerate mana early, then overwhelm the table with big Dragons and combat-focused pressure.

Its core plan is to use mana dorks and ramp like Llanowar Elves, Fyndhorn Elves, Wood Elves, Burnished Hart, and Orb of Dragonkind cards to power out large threats ahead of curve. The deck’s main synergy is around Dragons and attack scaling, especially with Thrakkus the Butcher, who can dramatically boost your team’s power in combat, and cards like Ganax, Astral Hunter, Wrathful Red Dragon, and other Dragon payoffs that reward going big.

It typically wins by turning creatures sideways: deploying large Dragons, enhancing them with haste/equipment or combat support, and pushing through lethal damage. A secondary angle is using red removal and sweep effects to clear blockers while green provides protection and consistency.
