Phantasmal Tempo is a mono-blue Pauper tempo deck. It aims to apply early pressure with efficient flying threats like Jace’s Phantasm, Krovikan Mist, and Spellstutter Sprite, then protect its board and disrupt the opponent with Counterspell, Vapor Snag, and Snap.

Its key synergies come from cheap cantrips like Ponder and Preordain to smooth draws, while Spellstutter Sprite provides both pressure and countermagic. Murmuring Mystic gives the deck a strong midgame plan by turning spells into evasive tokens. The deck wins by sticking a few flying creatures, controlling the opponent’s tempo, and closing the game through repeated evasive damage.
