Ifnir Grave Swarm is a black-based midrange/control graveyard deck, splashing other colors through utility lands, but primarily centered in black. Its game plan is to control the board with removal and sweepers, then take over with large recursive or token-producing threats.

Key synergies revolve around -1/-1 counters and mass shrink effects, especially with Archfiend of Ifnir, Black Sun’s Zenith, and Ifnir Deadlands, which help clear opposing creatures while enabling attrition-based play. Cards like Massacre Girl and Infernal Grasp reinforce the removal-heavy plan, while finishers such as Grave Titan and other big creatures generate overwhelming board presence.

The deck generally wins by grinding opponents out, repeatedly killing creatures, then closing the game with zombie/token swarms and resilient late-game threats.
