Rivendel is a Sultai/4-color Legends-value midrange deck in Modern, built around The Lord of the Rings card package. It uses cheap legendary creatures like Delighted Halfling, Samwise Gamgee, Arwen, Mortal Queen, Gollum, Patient Plotter, and Nazgûl to generate incremental value while controlling the board with cards like Orcish Bowmasters, Stern Scolding, and Cast into the Fire.

Its key synergies come from legendary-matters and The Ring tempts you effects: Call of the Ring and Gollum help grind card advantage, while Flowering of the White Tree boosts the legendary team and makes attacks stronger. Lórien Revealed helps fix mana and smooth draws, and Sauron’s Ransom adds more card selection.
