Skyway Plunder

Skyway Plunder is a mono-blue Pirate tribal Commander deck with a tempo/value game plan. It uses evasive Pirates to attack safely, draw lots of cards through effects like Coastal Piracy, Reconnaissance Mission, Bident of Thassa, and Kindred Discovery, and generate extra mana/value from Pirate synergies—especially Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator, which turns combat damage into Treasures.

The deck snowballs by deploying cheap evasive creatures, protecting them with counters and interaction like Fierce Guardianship, Swan Song, Counterspell, and Cyclonic Rift, then pumping the team with tribal payoffs such as Coat of Arms, Door of Destinies, Vanquisher’s Banner, Obelisk of Urd, and Icon of Ancestry. It aims to win through repeated evasive combat damage from a wide Pirate board, often made stronger by anthem effects and enabled by unblockable tools like Rogue’s Passage and Access Tunnel.
