tax

This is an Orzhov stax/combo Commander deck built around Kambal, Consul of Allocation. Its main plan is to slow opponents down with tax and hate pieces like Deafening Silence, Drannith Magistrate, Opposition Agent, Aven Mindcensor, Leonin Arbiter, Thalia, and Authority of the Consuls while gaining incremental life and draining the table through Kambal, Orcish Bowmasters, and similar effects.

It wins primarily through compact life-drain combos, especially Exquisite Blood plus Sanguine Bond, Vito, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror, which create infinite life drain. It also has a Heliod, Sun-Crowned plus Walking Ballista combo kill, and a Necrotic Ooze line with Triskelion for additional combo potential. Fast mana, tutors, and reanimation let it assemble wins quickly, while board control and prison pieces buy time and keep opponents from executing their own plans.
