Strategy notes
Ayara, First of Locthwain is a mono-black aristocrats/reanimator Commander deck . It wants to flood the board with disposable black creatures and token fodder, then sacrifice and recur them repeatedly to drain opponents with Ayara , generate value, and control the board.
Key synergies include:
Sacrifice engines: Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder, Yahenni, High Market, Phyrexian Tower Death payoffs / fodder: Ophiomancer, Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodghast, Pitiless Plunderer, Pawn of Ulamog, Sifter of Skulls, Butcher of Malakir Reanimation package: Entomb, Buried Alive, Unmarked Grave, Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy, Victimize, Living Death, Rise of the Dark Realms Big finishers: Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kokusho, the Evening Star, Archon of Cruelty, Massacre Wurm, Razaketh, Vilis, Sheoldred The deck usually wins by **incremental life-drain
