Stormscale Riddles

Stormscale Riddles is an Izzet (blue-red) Standard tempo/spells deck. It plays a reactive game early with cheap interaction like Spell Pierce, Spell Snare, Disdainful Stroke, Burst Lightning, and Shore Up to protect its board and disrupt the opponent’s curve.

Its core plan is to leverage Quantum Riddler and Hearth Elemental // Stoke Genius as value-oriented spell payoffs, then transition into bigger flying finishers like Magmatic Hellkite and Nova Hellkite to close the game. The deck wins by controlling tempo, trading efficiently with low-cost spells, and turning that time advantage into pressure from evasive threats.
