Thorin is a Boros (red-white) Equipment/Voltron tribal Commander deck with a strong Dwarf subtheme. Its main plan is to suit up key creatures—especially Thorin, King of Durin’s Folk, Wyleth, Akiri, or other efficient attackers—with cheap and powerful Equipment, then win through aggressive combat damage.
Key synergies include:
Equipment support from cards like Ardenn, Bruenor Battlehammer, Puresteel Paladin, Sigarda’s Aid, and Leonin Shikari, which reduce equip costs, move Equipment for free, or attach them at instant speed.
Card advantage from Wyleth, Sram, Puresteel Paladin, Mask of Memory, and Infiltration Lens to keep the threats coming.
Dwarf/equipment overlap with cards like Magda, Depala, Dwarven Recruiter, and Kazuul’s Toll Collector, helping the deck maintain pressure and utility.
Big payoff Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Maul of the Skyclaves, **
Reyav, Master Smith
