Moonlit Scales

Moonlit Scales is a Selesnya (green-white) +1/+1 counters/lifegain Commander deck that plays like a go-wide midrange value engine.

Its main plan is to flood the board with efficient creatures, grow them with +1/+1 counters, and snowball through counter-doubling and proliferation. Cards like Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, Conclave Mentor, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, Evolution Sage, and Grateful Apparition make every counter placement much stronger. Token makers and anthem-style payoffs such as Felidar Retreat, Wedding Announcement, Trostani Discordant, Parallel Lives, and Cathars’ Crusade help the deck go wide while also scaling tall.

A secondary theme is lifegain, with cards like Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Archangel of Thune, Righteous Valkyrie, Resplendent Angel, Ajani’s Pridemate, Voice of the Blessed, and Trelasarra, Moon Dancer turning life gain into more counters and board pressure.
