Avatar State Ascendant

Avatar State Ascendant is a five-color Commander legendary/tribal value deck built around Aang, Team Avatar, and the bending-themed legends/sagas from Avatar. Its game plan is to assemble a board of synergistic legendary creatures and support pieces, using the various bending lessons, scrolls, and story cards to generate value, fix colors, and control the board.

The deck plays like a midrange legends deck with strong theme-based synergy: Aang and his different versions reward progressing through the game, while cards like Team Avatar, Appa, Iroh, Katara, Toph, Zuko, and Sokka help build incremental advantage. It aims to win by overwhelming opponents with a resilient board of legendary threats, then closing with big splashy payoffs like Enter the Avatar State, Avatar’s Wrath, Energybending, Sozin’s Comet, or transformed/ascended Aang cards. In short: five-color Avatar legends midrange that wins through board development, synergy, and powerful top-end finishers.
