Sonic the Hedgehog

Jeskai (+ green splash via Yavimaya) counters/legends synergy Commander deck built around Sonic the Hedgehog as a fast, value-oriented +1/+1 counter engine with a strong Doctor Who legendary/historic subtheme.

It aims to win by going wide with creatures, stacking counters, and turning the board into a resilient combat threat. Key synergies include Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Cathars’ Crusade, Felidar Retreat, Mikaeus, Lae’zel, The Ozolith, Sword of Truth and Justice, and Basri’s Lieutenant/Abzan Falconer to multiply counters and convert them into evasion or staying power. Delney helps smaller utility creatures trigger more effectively, while Together Forever, Resourceful Defense, Clara Oswald, and Gandalf the White add recursion, doubling, or protection value.

The deck plays like a midrange tempo-combat deck: ramp with rocks and Smothering Tithe, accrue incremental value from legends and support creatures, protect the board with cards like Teferi’s Protection, Flawless Maneuver, and Everybody Lives!, then close through
