Liesa, Shroud of Dusk is an Orzhov (white-black) lifegain/drain Commander deck built around taxing the table and turning life swings into damage. Its main plan is to gain life through effects like Soul Warden, Ajani’s Welcome, Authority of the Consuls, and Whip of Erebos, then convert that into opponent life loss with cards like Cliffhaven Vampire, Marauding Blight-Priest, Vizkopa Guildmage, Sanguine Bond, and Defiant Bloodlord.

The deck plays like a midrange aristocrats/control shell: it uses lots of removal and sweepers to keep the board clear, while Liesa pressures everyone by making spells cost life. It can grind value with card draw and recursion, then finish games with big drain effects like Exsanguinate, Debt to the Deathless, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or sacrifice-based pings from Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat. Overall, it wins by steadily draining the table while staying ahead on life.
