Azlask Commander

Azlask Commander is a five-color Eldrazi ramp/aristocrats deck built around flooding the board with Spawn and Scion tokens, then turning them into mana, sacrifice value, or giant colorless threats. Its core game plan is to ramp quickly with token-makers like Awakening Zone, From Beyond, Kozilek’s Predator, and Brood Monitor, then cast massive Eldrazi such as Ulamog, Kozilek, and Emrakul to overwhelm the table.

The key synergies are between token production, sacrifice payoffs, and colorless ramp: cards like Pawn of Ulamog, Sifter of Skulls, Cryptolith Rite, Warren Soultrader, and Forsaken Monument turn expendable bodies into mana and value, while Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, and Nadier’s Nightblade convert those sacrifices into life drain. The deck usually wins either by hard-casting huge Eldrazi and attacking with annihilator/trample pressure, or by grinding opponents out through repeated token sacrifice and death-trigger damage.
