Its main plan is to generate a wide board of Rat tokens and Food with cards like Lord Skitter, Experimental Confectioner, Welcome to Sweettooth, and Greta, then grind out the opponent through steady pressure and sacrifice-based value.

The deck wins by overwhelming the board with Rats, gaining incremental advantage from Food synergies, and repeatedly reusing creatures like Reassembling Skeleton and Mosswood Dreadknight. Candy Grapple, Feed the Swarm, and Gingerbread Hunter provide removal, while Phyrexian Arena and other recursive pieces help it keep cards flowing in longer games. Overall, it plays as a grindy Golgari token/value deck that snowballs through resource generation and attrition.
