doran besieged by time

This is an Abzan (white-black-green) toughness-matters / defender tribal Commander deck built around Doran and similar effects that let creatures deal combat damage using their toughness instead of power. It plays lots of Walls and high-toughness creatures like Wall of Omens, Overgrown Battlement, Indomitable Ancients, and Tree of Redemption, then turns them into real attackers with Assault Formation, Rolling Stones, Wakestone Gargoyle, and Behind the Scenes.

The deck’s game plan is to ramp early, develop a board of durable defenders, then swing with huge toughness-based damage. Key synergies include toughness buffs like Tower Defense and Sight of the Scalelords, card draw from creatures entering or having high stats with Guardian Project, Beast Whisperer, Welcoming Vampire, and Return of the Wildspeaker, plus efficient removal to control the board. It usually wins by overwhelming opponents in combat with unexpectedly large attacks from creatures that normally only block.
