Lifegain and Lifedrain

This is an Esper lifegain/lifedrain Commander deck built around Oloro, Ageless Ascetic, playing like a control-aristocrats/token strategy. It gains life passively and repeatedly through Oloro, Soul Warden effects, Authority of the Consuls, and token engines like Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, Lingering Souls, and Secure the Wastes, then converts that life into pressure with Karlov of the Ghost Council, Ajani’s Pridemate, Voice of the Blessed, Archangel of Thune, and Aetherflux Reservoir.

Its main win plan is draining opponents out with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Cruel Celebrant, Elas il-Kor, and Vito/Sanguine Bond-style effects, especially alongside token makers and board wipes. It also has multiple combo finishes, most notably Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond or Vito, and Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista. Control tools like Swords to Plowshares, Supreme Verdict, Toxic Deluge, and Damn help it survive until its life engine and synergies take over.
