Skittering Sewer Swarm

Skittering Sewer Swarm is a mono-black Standard midrange/aristocrats-style deck built around Rat and graveyard synergies.

Its game plan is to grind the opponent down with discard, recursion, and a growing swarm of creatures. Cards like Burglar Rat disrupt the opponent’s hand early, while Lord Skitter, Sewer King, Valley Rotcaller, and other Rats help build board presence and generate value over time. Forsaken Miner and Corpses of the Lost support a graveyard-focused plan, letting the deck keep applying pressure through recursion. Shoot the Sheriff and Requiting Hex provide removal and interaction to clear the way.

The deck typically wins by overwhelming the opponent with incremental advantage and repeated creature pressure, especially from synergistic Rat threats that keep coming back or growing over the course of the game.
