The Jo killer is a mono-black Vintage midrange/aggro deck with a strong discard, removal, and graveyard-recursion theme.

It aims to disrupt the opponent early with cards like Mesmeric Fiend, Diabolic Edict, Vendetta, Smother, and Bottomless Pit, while applying pressure with evasive shadow creatures like Dauthi Slayer and Dauthi Horror. The deck also gets value from the graveyard through Ichorid, Exhume, Victimize, Gravedigger, and Malevolent Awakening, letting it recycle threats and grind through removal.

Key synergies include sacrifice/reanimation interactions with Phyrexian Ghoul, Cabal Archon, Victimize, and Ichorid, plus zombie tribal touches from Gempalm Polluter and Zombie Trailblazer.
