Ancestors of Abzan

Ancestors of Abzan is an Abzan (white-black-green) Dragon tribal midrange/reanimator Commander deck. It ramps hard with cards like Cultivate, Kodama’s Reach, Skyshroud Claim, Smothering Tithe, and mana rocks to land big Dragons and value creatures, then wins by overwhelming the table with large flying threats and repeated recursion.

Its key synergies revolve around powerful Dragons like Ancient Brass Dragon, Ancient Gold Dragon, Old Gnawbone, Kokusho, Junji, Shadrix, and Dragonlord Dromoka, backed by tribal support such as Dragon’s Hoard, Path of Ancestry, Cavern of Souls, and Patriarch’s Bidding. The deck also leans into graveyard recursion with Nethroi, Apex of Death and Eerie Ultimatum, letting it rebuild after board wipes or reuse strong death triggers like Kokusho and Junji. Card advantage engines like The Great Henge, Guardian Project, Beast Whisperer, Sylvan Library, and Necropotence keep the threats flowing,
