Kaalia

Kaalia is a Mardu (white/black/red) Commander cheat-into-play aggro/midrange deck built around Kaalia of the Vast. Its main plan is to attack with Kaalia and drop big Angels, Demons, and Dragons from hand directly onto the battlefield, bypassing their high mana costs and quickly overwhelming opponents.

Key synergies include:

• High-impact flying threats like Drakuseth, Angel of Despair, Vilis, Liesa, and Bladewing the Risen that generate removal, damage, card advantage, or recursion when cheated in.
• Protecting Kaalia with cards like Lightning Greaves, Mask of Avacyn, Gods Willing, and Malakir Rebirth so she can keep attacking.
• Ramp and fixing from Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Talismans, Fellwar Stone, and Wayfarer’s Bauble to cast threats when Kaalia isn’t available.
• Efficient removal and board control such as Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, Chaos Warp, Mortify, Austere Command, and Slash the Ranks
