Meren

Meren is a Golgari (black-green) aristocrats/reanimator Commander deck built around sacrificing creatures for value and repeatedly bringing them back with Meren of Clan Nel Toth.

It fills the graveyard with cards like Stitcher’s Supplier, Satyr Wayfinder, Grisly Salvage, and Mulch, then loops disposable creatures and edict effects such as Fleshbag Marauder, Merciless Executioner, Plaguecrafter, and Shriekmaw through sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder, Ashnod’s Altar, Altar of Dementia, and High Market. This generates steady card advantage, removal, and experience counters for Meren.

The deck usually wins by grinding opponents out with recursive sacrifice value, then closing with big drain or reanimation swings from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kokusho, the Evening Star, Massacre Wurm, Living Death, or Rise of the Dark Realms.
