Meren

Meren is a Golgari (black-green) aristocrats/reanimator Commander deck built around sacrificing creatures for value and recurring them with Meren of Clan Nel Toth.

It aims to fill the graveyard, generate disposable bodies/tokens, and loop creatures like Reassembling Skeleton, Gravecrawler, Cauldron Familiar, Sakura-Tribe Elder, and Mitotic Slime through sac outlets and recursion. Payoff cards like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Dictate of Erebos, and Butcher of Malakir turn those deaths into life drain and board control, while Skullclamp, Grim Haruspex, Morbid Opportunist, and Moldervine Reclamation keep cards flowing.

The deck usually wins by grinding out the table with repeated death triggers, overwhelming opponents with value and tokens, or reanimating big threats like Avenger of Zendikar, Hornet Queen, Sepulchral Primordial, or Protean Hulk for explosive turns.
