Strategy notes
Crimson Thousand Sons is an Izzet (blue-red) spellslinger/token-storm Commander deck. Its core plan is to chain together lots of cheap instants and sorceries, using cost reducers and mana engines like Baral, Goblin Electromancer, Birgi, Storm-Kiln Artist, and ritual effects to generate explosive turns.
The deck’s main synergies revolve around payoff creatures and token makers such as Young Pyromancer, Third Path Iconoclast, Talrand, Murmuring Mystic, Saheeli, and especially Ovika, which turn every spell into a growing board. It also leverages spell-copying and amplification from Veyran, Harmonic Prodigy, Bonus Round, Increasing Vengeance, Narset’s Reversal, and Reiterate to snowball value or mana.
It usually wins either by overwhelming the table with token armies or by firing off a big finisher spell like Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, Expansion // Explosion, or a huge draw/burn turn fueled by mana bursts such as **Mana Gey
