New website, who dis?
Fix for partner decks: naming both commanders in your request - like 'kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and malcolm, keen eyed navigator as the commanders' - now reliably puts BOTH at the helm and builds the full two-color deck around them. No more half-stripped partner decks.
Bug fix: Snow-Covered basic lands now survive deck validation. They're basics — any number allowed — but the engine was capping them to 1 copy and quietly swapping your snow manabase for other lands. Paste a snow deck and it stays a snow deck now.
Just shipped: the deck builder now finds your commander even from shorthand — type mr negative and you get Mister Negative, right colors and all. Published decks also display the true commander and its full color identity. krakenthemeta.com/dashboard.php
yoyo
Collection deck builds just got a mana tune-up: when the AI drafts too many lands from your binder, the extras now get swapped for real spells you own - automatically. No more half-lands decks. (Landfall and lands-matter builds stay land-heavy on purpose.)
Squashed a nasty rare bug: if the AI's first pass came up short, your deck could get padded out with a pile of basic lands. Short draws now get an automatic redo, and deck repairs stop re-suggesting cards already rejected for budget. Fewer basics, more real cards.
New: you can name your second commander right in the request - 'a 2 commander deck, the second commander is Tormod, the Desecrator' now puts the legal pair at the helm. Comma names like 'Krenko, Mob Boss' in must-include lists resolve properly too.
New: bracket decks that respect the bracket. Ask for a Bracket 1-3 deck (or say 'max 3 game changers') and the builder now enforces the official Game Changers list — no more accidental Bracket 4. Works typed in your request or via the selector.
Collection builds got smarter: if your binder is smaller than a full deck, the AI now builds around exactly what you own - every usable card at its best count, basic lands planned up front instead of drowning your picks after the fact. Small pools, honest decks.
Rerolling the same prompt now gets you a genuinely different take. The AI notices a repeat request, builds a different angle instead of the same list, and keeps your commander if you named one. Retries come back faster too.
New: collection builds now honor format legality when you ask for it. Say 'standard legal only' and the AI builds from just your format-legal cards - and tells you honestly if your collection can't cover a fully legal build.
Collection builds just got smarter: if your collection is short on lands, the AI now plans the manabase up front and spends every slot on its best picks for your strategy - no more silently losing a third of the deck to make room for basics.
Just shipped: pin a commander on a collection build and the AI now only sees cards that fit its color identity - no more off-color picks getting silently swapped for basic lands mid-build. Big-collection brewers should feel this one.
What's up friends
Partner commanders now work! Ask for Tymna + Kraum (or any legal pair - Partner, Friends Forever, Backgrounds, the Doctor) and the deck keeps BOTH at the helm with their combined colors. No more watching half your cEDH staples vanish mid-build.
Shipped a fix for a sneaky deck-gen bug: the AI could crown the wrong commander for the deck it actually built, and color-identity rules would then strip half your cards. The engine now checks the commander truly fits the deck first. Fewer weird piles, more of what you asked for.
Fixed: decks built for colorless commanders (Emrakul, Kozilek, Ulamog...) now stay strictly inside colorless identity - no more stray colored cards sneaking into the 99, and your Wastes package survives intact. If a colorless build frustrated you before, give it another shot.
Kraken Pro coach update: the coach now shows its math. Lethal lines open with the arithmetic (Shock 2 + unblocked 3/3 = 5), every tip carries the why, no repeated combat lines. Same correct plays — now you learn from them. krakenthemeta.com/assistant
